Many staffing firms error in their compensation plans by paying too much of the gross margin out in compensation. Well, what is too much? And what is too little? And what is a good plan and what is a bad plan?
You don’t have to be a compensation expert to have a good solid plan for your business. You do, however, have to know a few things (some general compensation guidelines) and you need to think through on the front end what exactly you want your compensation plan to do. With a little knowledge and forethought your company can have a plan that is working for you and not against you.
